Bumped into Bun Mee on my way to catch the train back over the bridge. The interior decor is simple and super hip and it has a little al fresco dining area out front. On this visit I ordered the rainbow salad with chicken and avocado, and the garlic fries. The salad came with dressing, but the pickled carrots were so flavorful that it didn't really need dressing and I ended up eating the whole thing without it. The garlic fries were like no fries I've ever had before. They come with grilled onions and jalapenos mixed in, which I found absolutely delightful. I will definitely be back to try the salt and pepper fried chicken!

I ordered through the Allset app and my food was ready before I arrived. They seem quite organized. The place was clean, service was good and employees were friendly. Busy and long line during lunchtime, but still had places to sit. This is the vegan brown rice bowl. Tasty!

We stopped by Bun Mee for Vietnamese food and had an excellent time! Ordered the 5 spice chicken sandwich, Sloppy Bun, and the Bun Bowl with Shrimp. The food is delicious, filling, and great for a quick bite. The service was great and the servers were polite and warm. Highly recommend!

The pork bánh mì was pretty tasty and exceeded my expectations which are pretty low for these types of places. Too much carrot and needs more cilantro for my taste. It was my first visit and I'm very picky about my Vietnamese food like I have to drive 40+ miles to get some good Vietnamese food. I didn't realize it didn't already include pate which for $8 it should. I can get bigger sandwiches in Little Saigon San Jose for half the cost but, of course, it's a long drive for me. Would I come back probably but only during their happy hours 3-6 pm in which these sandwiches are a more reasonable $5 and beer only $3.50.

Great banh mi! Fast and casual Vietnamese food. This place has great flavor and local flair. I had the belly bun and summer rolls. Friendly service and fair pricing make this a favorite.

The location of this place is definitely convenient to public transit and many offices in the city, so it seems like a common lunch spot. They have vegan options, including as far as I can tell, the tofu bahn mi and eggplant bahn mi (substituting soy mayo). I got the tofu bahn mi through MealPal and it appears to be the normal size, which is nice, and the sandwich itself was good. It doesn't seem like a traditional Vietnamese place, but I don't have a problem with that. The sauce used was a little too sweet for my taste, partly because the carrots already add a good amount of sweetness, but the tofu was sufficiently crispy and flavorful. I also liked that the bread wasn't too thick (it may have been hollowed out) so the tasty inside of the sandwich were more noticeable. I definitely appreciate the spice of the jalapenos, but it is something to consider if you don't enjoy spicy food. I have to give this four stars because Dinosaurs, which has a few locations in the city and serves similar food, just does a better tofu bahn mi in my opinion. Their tofu is shredded and fried to create a wonderful texture that is more interesting than just marinating it. In any case, the sandwich packaging here (shown in the attached photos) was noticeably well-designed aesthetically. Too many places have succumbed to using a plain white paper or similar, so this was an added touch that made the food feel a tiny bit more premium.

This is a nice little Vietnamese spot that is super convenient for lunch. The sandwich options are great and I really like the 5 spice chicken and combo sandwich. The presentation within is excellent with neat layers of carrots, cucumbers. They ask you if you want jalapenos, everything else is default. The taste and flavors were good. Not many seating spots for dine-in especially during the busy lunch hour.

5 spice chicken sandwich was ok only because the slaw was a little overpowering the taste of the chicken. The Vietnamese cream cloud was absolutely delicious. Bold smooth and creamy with the perfect balance of coffee and sugar. Service was good and staff really keep up cleanliness. I gave it four stars because Saigon Bistro in Concord tops it with $8 delicious sandwiches and it’s ran and owed by Vietnamese.
